Teambuild Group Annual Dinner 2013
Colleagues from the Teambuild Group came together at the Annual Dinner held at Gardens By the Bay, Flower Field Hall, on 7th December 2013, dressing to the theme of Madhatter’s Masquerade. Apart from lucky draws and a super exciting beer-drinking game, it was really nice to see our colleagues all dressed up in masks and hats, soaking in the company of music and a widespread of international buffet for that night.
Enterprise 50 Awards 2013
On the 29th November 2013, Teambuild Land was awarded second in place in the Enterprise 50 Awards held at Resorts World Convention Centre. Being in our 2nd year in the E50 Awards, it was indeed a remarkable achievement for us to come this far!
We are very thankful for the senior management team as well as our business partners who have took time off their busy schedules to attend the E50 Gala dinner that night and also be one of the first to witness and share our joy.
Tanglin Trust School – Work-Experience Program 2013
For the second year in a row, Teambuild Land was invited to take part in Tanglin Trust School’s 1-Day Work-Experience Program (WEP) for their Year 11 students. This time round, we had four students who joined us in the 1-Day WEP and we had them attached to different departments before bringing them for a site tour to understand the process property development, from acquiring land to building houses and to handing them over to residents, followed by the forming of defect team to handle defect issues raised by residents.
TOUCH Community – Ultimate Hawker Fest (19th October 2013)
Teambuild Land participated in this year’s Ultimate Hawker Fest, a fund-raising charity event by TOUCH Community, as one of the major sponsors. Other than being one of the event sponsors, Teambuild Land also gave out food coupons to our colleagues to encourage participation in the event itself, where colleagues brought their families along to enjoy the local delights offered by the various famous hawker stalls from all around Singapore, yet at the same time, contributing back to the community where these raised funds will reach out to various levels of needs in our community.
Prawning @ Hai Bin Punggol
On the 14th September 2013, the Employee Committee worked together to organize a Family day for our colleagues – Prawning @ Hai Bin Punggol. Most of our colleagues brought along their families and joined in the prawning, alongside with the buffet dinner provided. We had about 50 colleagues including their family members who turned up that day! And we were glad everyone did not go home empty-handed that night! Look, someone just walked away with the bonus catch of the night, with one of the largest prawns caught!
On the same night, we gave out the No-MC Award for the period of April 2013 to August 2013 to reward our colleagues for their support of our Company’s Employee Health Programme.
Annual Health Screening 2013 (13th June 2013)
Upon returning from Desaru Trip, we held our Annual Health Screening with our partner, Optimal Health. We are thankful for the very patient staff who took extra care when taking our blood for testing, etc. And here is our CEO, Mr. Tang waiting for his blood to be drawn!
Desaru Trip (9th June 2013)
Following the Employee Committee’s activity last month in May, they have expanded their efforts out to our neighboring country, Malaysia, in order to bring in more fun and team bonding sessions to our colleagues through Desaru Fruit Farm & Tour. Additionally, retro games was included such as transporting ping-pong balls with plastic spoons only using our mouths, turning circles on the spot, jump-shots, we are very sure we have seen the other side of one another and how in quick situations we react and help one another… and have thus bonded closer together throughout the games and laughter. And to mark our footsteps on Desaru, we took a group shot right in the middle of the beach!
Board Games @ MINDS Café (7th May 2013)
The Employee Committee had initially planned an evening cycle right around the CBD area, but the wet weather had to put a stop to the plans and there we went, headed to MINDS Café instead for a chillax night out after work! It was good seeing every one enjoying themselves like big kids in the house!
Chinese New Year 2013
On 18th February 2013, we celebrated Chinese New Year with everyone ushering in a brand new auspicious year together over a Lou-Hei Lunch at Qian Xi Restaurant. The lunch was followed by karaoke singing competition and birthday celebrations of the same-month babies, and finally a group shot to sum it up!
Performance Management Training – By Human Capital Singapore (HCS)
The HR Department took up an initiative to review the existing performance appraisal system and implement a performance management programme. We sent our first batch of colleagues to the Performance Management Training partnered with Human Capital Singapore (HCS) over a 3-day course in January and February 2013.
This newly implemented performance management programme looks into setting clear and precise key performance indicators (KPIs) for effective job performance appraisals as well as methods to conduct performance appraisal sessions successfully.
